Shipping Policy
At Dr. Aziz Pharmacy, we are committed to delivering your medications safely, securely, and on time. This policy explains how we package, ship, and track prescriptions sent to our patients.
Where We Ship
Dr. Aziz Pharmacy currently ships prescription medications only to patients located within the State of Indiana.
Order Processing
Once your prescription has been reviewed and verified by our pharmacist, our team prepares it for shipment. Before your package leaves the pharmacy, we verify:

-
The correct patient and shipping address
-
The correct medication, strength, dosage form, and quantity
-
Any required ancillary supplies or patient education materials

Any discrepancies are resolved before your medication is shipped.
Packaging & Product Integrity
-
We take care to protect your medication throughout transit:
-
Medications are packaged using materials appropriate to their storage requirements, which may include insulated containers, cold packs, or protective padding.
-
Temperature-sensitive medications are shipped using validated cold-chain packaging to help maintain proper storage conditions in transit.
-
All shipments are placed in tamper-evident packaging.
-
For your privacy, no markings on the outside of your package identify its contents.
-
Applicable medication guides, patient information sheets, or auxiliary labels are included with your shipment.
Shipping Carriers & Delivery Timing
We work with trusted national carriers (USPS, UPS, and FedEx) and select the shipping method based on:

-
Your medication's storage and handling requirements
-
Your location within Indiana
-
The urgency of your prescription

We aim to ship medications with enough lead time for you to receive them before your current supply runs out or before a scheduled dose. Time-sensitive prescriptions are prioritized to help avoid any interruption in your therapy.
Weather & Emergency Delays: During severe weather or other emergency conditions, we may briefly hold a shipment to protect medication integrity. If this affects a time-sensitive prescription, our pharmacist will evaluate the situation and work with you on the best alternative.
Tracking Your Shipment
Once your order ships, you will be notified with your expected delivery date and tracking information (provided by the pharmacy and/or the shipping carrier). You can use this tracking number to monitor your package's progress to your door. Proof of delivery, including a signature when required, is kept as part of your patient record.
Shipping Delays
If a delay or shipping exception occurs, we will:

-
Monitor the status of your shipment with the carrier
-
Notify you of the delay and provide an updated delivery estimate when available
-
Alert our pharmacist immediately if the delay involves a time-sensitive or temperature-sensitive medication

If a cold-chain shipment is delayed beyond the medication's approved temperature/time range, the product will not be delivered to you. Instead, it will be returned to the pharmacy for evaluation and appropriate handling.
Lost Shipments
If your shipment is lost in transit, we will:

-
Contact the shipping carrier to investigate
-
Notify you of the shipment's status
-
Evaluate whether replacement medication is needed to prevent any interruption in your treatment
-
Coordinate a reshipment or other appropriate solution

Our pharmacist reviews every delayed or lost shipment involving a possible therapy interruption to determine the appropriate next steps for your care.
