Hamid Abbaspour, RPh, MBA, Founder, President
Hamid was born in Shiraz, Iran, and at the age of 16 moved to the United States to live with his brother who was a graduate student at Indiana University in Bloomington. Hamid attended Bloomington High School North. He was influenced by his two brothers Aziz and Karim who were Ph.D. chemists. Hamid pursued pharmacy for its direct application of chemical principals on human life. He studied pre-pharmacy at Indiana University and received his B.S. in pharmacy in 1985 from Purdue University.
Hamid commenced his professional career in various divisions of the pharmacy department at the Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis. His final assignment at the hospital was in outpatient oncology. He also worked part-time for a home infusion company. During these two assignments he acquired a great appreciation for the terminally ill patient as well as the pro-active role a pharmacist can play in this environment. In 1988 he established Dr. Aziz, located in Indianapolis, and named in memory of his brother (Aziz Abbaspour, Ph.D.) after his sudden death from cancer.
Kurt Moyer, RPh, Pharmacy General Manager
Kurt received hisbachelor of science degree in pharmacy from Butler University in 1992. Since his externship, where he became intrigued by the opportunities he would be able to provide patients through an independent pharmacy, Kurt has spent his entire professional career with Dr. Aziz. Kurt works closely with the pharmacy, clinic, and compounding pharmacy to meet the individual needs of our patients. He offers individual treatment plans for patients through his hormone replacement therapy, pain management, and nutritional supplement consulting services and serves a resource to physicians in the area.
Kurt lives in Fishers with his wife, daughter, two dogs, and a cat. He enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Nowell Wayila, RPh, MBA, Pharmacy Supervisor
Nowell completed his bachelor of pharmacy (Honors) in Zimbabwe and his MBA from the University of Indianapolis. His supervisory role at Dr. Aziz provides him with the opportunity to maintain precise standards, and he is a customer favorite for his warm and caring demeanor.
Nowell likes to spend his spare time at home, tending to his three very active sons.
Barbara Davis, MD, Medical Director
Barbara is a board-certified family physician, with a diverse background. Her over twenty-year practice includes Geist Family Medicine, Hawthorne Family Medicine, Community Hospitals of Indianapolis, and Fairbanks Hospital. In addition to family medicine, she specializes in substance-use disorders and beginning and advanced programs in food & lifestyle as medicine in her private practice at Dr. Aziz,
Mind in Light/Body in Balance.

Mary Jo Eoff, RN, MSN, NP, Nurse Practitioner
Mary Jo received all her degrees in nursing at Indiana University School of Nursing. She has been a clinical professor at Indiana University School of Nursing for over 25 years and a nurse practitioner for 15 years, specializing in pain management and acute care. She is married and has three girls and two grandchildren. She loves to spend all her free time doing things with her girls and grandchildren.
Betty Wagner, RN, MSN, FNP-BC, Nurse Practitioner
Betty is originally from West Virginia, but she has made her home in Pendleton, Indiana. Her positive attitude and kind demeanor are her greatest assets in caring for patients. Betty received her undergraduate degree in nursing from Ball State University. She has earned all of her post-graduate education from Indiana University, with degrees in nursing administration and family nurse practitioner programs. She also spent five years teaching at the Indiana University School of Nursing. Betty sews, and she and her husband have three daughters.
